Smog is expected to lessen in the colder months, as warmer weather brings down the pollutants to breathing level.

PHEAA Proposes Budget Increase

According to the Patriot News, the PA Higher Education Assistance Agency would like a 5% funding increase for the 2012-2013 budget. Even though Gov. Corbett has asked state agencies to keep their budget proposals for next year relatively flat, PHEAA is requesting roughly $19 million in additional funding. The extra dollars would be used to help more students receive grant money.
