Adjutant General Named
Governor Corbett has announced that he will nominate Major General Wesley Craig as the Adjutant General of Pennsylvania. Major General Craig, 64, of Montgomery County, will head the commonwealth's Department of Military and Veterans Affairs.  “Major General Craig has devoted his career to serving our nation,” Corbett said. “His record of exemplary leadership, along with more than 30 years of military experience, makes him an ideal choice for Adjutant General.”


PA Slots Revenue Down
According to a press release from the PA Gaming Control Board, the revenue from slots gambling is down from this time last year. The slots at the ten operating casinos produced $177,317,920 in gross revenue in January 2011 compared to $184,214,974 in January 2010.
This morning CNN is reporting that the U.S. economy gained 36,000 jobs in January, less than expected, but the unemployment rate fell to 9 percent.
